If you're in the market for used winter gear, it's a good idea to check around on the web for second hand or demo skis. You'll want to look first for fat skis, hippie. Even at a season or two old, you'll find skis like new classifed as "used or demo"...especially from dialed retailers like Evogear.

And of course eBay is a great place to shop too. Great advice from Algaebabe about waiting until the last 15 minutes to bid and sticking to your max price...
